Welcome to the dark side

The world is fucked. Right now, London is burning, Africa starving, the US are broke, not to mention Greece and the rest of Europe. DAX has crashed again. Media, politics and corporations all share the market of truth amongst them and I haven’t come across a single person yet who hasn’t been directly affected by today’s events. It must be cause we are lower class, like the 10 million other citizens of “one of the richest countries”.
We are the only ones protecting our country from the aging of the population, yet we’re still constantly dissed by, well, everybody else. So, what do we do next? I guess in the end we just have to sit and wait. But while I’m sitting and waiting, I decided to blog about this current state of affairs; this increasingly desperate situation we all find hard to ignore, that we attempt to cover with our own lies to stop ourselves from going nuts. Maybe having a corrupted media is a good thing after all – at least it helps you sleep at night and calms the tiny voice in the back of your head, the one whispering that, this time, things are not going to be “back to normal” after the weekend. Because I, at least, don’t think they will. Well whatever happens, sooner or later (probably sooner) we are all going to be crushed anyway by a level of overpopulation beyond our wildest expectations. The end is calculable. In fact, we can start taking bets on which disaster will strike where. What is it they say about peak oil again?
No, this blog isn’t meant to be one of those survivalism-panic-we’re-all-gonna-die TV shows, which seem to be very popular at the moment. And it is not one the hundreds of conspiracy-theory “aliens will come and eat our brains, now lets get stuff packed and build a bunker in the mountains” blogs. It’s just me and my cynical view of the world falling apart.
